We strive to make a difference in every game we play. In doing this, we also strive to achieve recognition from our peers in the sport and the command staff at scenario paintball events we attend. While some people may say they only play for fun, we play for the sheer love of the sport with intensity and honor. We relish in the thrill of the hunt. We are competition-driven, and where there is competition there are winners and losers.
As long as there are winners and losers, and awards to win....well, let's just say we want to be on top! We constantly test our abilities both physically and mentally against any and all who chose to enter the fray. It's why we play! Don't hate us because we play hard from the time we hit the field until the time we leave. Don't hate us because we never quit and always play like we are losing. Play hard with/against us...or go home!
Our current roster comes from wide and varied team backgrounds (Atomic Wedgies, Blitzkrieg, Disciples of Paint, Knightmare Tango, Mayberry Marauders, and Strike Eagles) and were paramount to those team's successes. Many on our team contributed to the winning of Most Valuable Team awards (MVT's) with their 'old' teams in the past which reflects their dedication to whatever colors they wore at any given time. Many of the same players can also lay claim to multiple personal awards (Most Valuable Player, Sportsmanship) that reflect on their individual accomplishments as well.
Thunderstruck has only been a scenario team since November 2004. We will post awards as we receive them. We greatly thank any and all who give us recognition in this way.
